One of the best at what she does! She helps me maintain back growth, and control the brows. She’s delicate with the procedure, and I always know she is on point. From the different skin care products she’s suggested, to a totally professional atmosphere, Tess is simply an esthetician of the highest standards. Best Facials
I had a number of facials by Tess many years ago and loved them, but stopped getting them as my skin cleared up. I recently developed some blemishes and decided my skin needed some love so I was delighted to re-find her. Now I’m wondering why I waited so long. My skin looks better already and the massage was an added plus. I’ve already booked my next appointment.

The Best

Amazing Experience
I am so happy that I decided to take advantage of getting my brows down by Tess. The atmosphere that she provides is very spa like. There are oils diffusing, soothing music, a comfortable table, and she is extremely gentle. I like that she takes her time and talks you through the process of what she is doing. Tess did an amazing job. She spends a few minutes listening to what you want or what your skin is like then inspects it before she works. The facial I had was perfect for dry sensitive skin. After being left with scabs on my eyebrows from another salon, waxing was not a priority. But a few years later I found Tess. It’s been 7 years and I’ve never had a uncomfortable wax. Started getting facials from Tess and find myself so relaxed I usually fall asleep 10 minutes in. Highly recommend a facial, you’ll probably become a once a month regular.

Tess amazes me, she is always smiling and makes waxing nearly pain free. It is not her fault if you feel a little sting, after all you are having hair pulled out of your skin. I never have ingrown hairs after a waxing by Tess. If anyone has had a bad waxing, you know how much that hurts. So pain free with a smile, can’t beat the combination if you need a wax.

I have been going to Tess for years. She is a master of brow shaping and very thorough and knowledgeable in all areas of hair removal and skin care. Tess is incredibly warm and immediately puts you at ease. She attends to every detail — relaxing music, soft lighting, a little dab of lavender (if you so desire) after the wax. I have seen other estheticians but have found that no one compares to Tess. She is simply a cut above.

Tess has been doing by brows for longer than I can remember. After years of bad waxes (and I mean, bad) a friend referred me to Tess. Never going back to bad waxing! Thanks, Tess!

Excellent Facial
One of the best facials I’ve had! Tess asked several questions prior to starting to make sure my concerns were addressed. She was considerate with temperature and comfort. I really liked being able to pick the aromatherapy of the facial product. Excellent treatment and mini massage. Highly recommend Tess! She does my eyebrows monthly and I love them!

Best service in Austin!
Tess provides exceptional service and friendliness. Not only do I commute to see her, but it is always fun to catch up and chat. Great service time and again
I have been seeing Tess for over ten years, even during a time that I lived out of town. I would schedule an appointment with her every time I visited Austin and couldn’t wait! She has consistently offered great and reliable service over many years, and her genuine and calming demeanor are always a welcome respite to a hectic day. A south Austin GEM of a salon!

Tess is awesome! I have been going to Tess for a few years now and am always beyond pleased. She is so nice, friendly, and always punctual. The Salon Sovay…next door ladies are all settled in and working their magic! I’ve followed Tess here and so glad I did. She’s fantastic and can work miracles with your skin and waxing needs! I typically do a brow wax and quick facial. I’m able to get in and out during my lunch break. Love it!

So Relaxing…
A facial from Tess is like an oasis in the middle of the desert. My appointment was at 2pm on a Wednesday and it felt like 7pm on a Friday. So relaxing and peaceful. Tess’s massages just feel like someone is taking care of you. Thanks Tess!

Best esthetician on the planet!
Salon Sovay…next door is an extremely clean and comfortable place to go get a number of beauty needs fulfilled, but in particular I highly recommend going to see Tess Rodriguez for any type of esthetic need you may have 🙂 she is the best esthetician in Austin (yes she received that title), she uses exceptional products, and she does the best job of anyone I have seen in my 8 years in Austin. If you are lucky enough to have met Tess, you have found a hidden gem. She comes highly recommended!!!

Tess Brazilian Wax
Tess is the greatest ever! I love Salon Savoy next door… it feels like a private oasis away from downtown but still so close to my apartment. I am glad Melinda Perez is also there now so it looks like this salon will be my new home! Excited to visit again!

Fantastic people, services, and facility!
I have been seeing Tess for my waxing and skin needs for years and she is THE BEST! She does an amazing job and is so wonderful. Her new digs at Salon Sovay…Next Door are pretty awesome. When you walk in you are immediately struck by the decor… beautiful and relaxing. (I am particularly a fan of the doors to the different rooms. They are gorgeous!) They have done a fantastic job with the location and have awesome people working there. Love it!

Professional, knowledgeable & AWESOME!
I would rather find a new doctor than someone new to do my brows. Thank god for Tess. She is probably the most highly skilled aesthetician in Austin, maybe even Texas. I trust her completely with all of my waxing and skin care needs. She has about 15 years of experience and you couldn’t last in this town that long if you didn’t know what you were doing. She’s also punctual, dependable and reasonably priced. Her new space is super conveniently located with easy parking and absolutely gorgeous.
